Make Integration Guide
Connect IndReelForge to Make (formerly Integromat) scenarios using the HTTP > Make a request module. Post to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit and Bluesky in one step.
Prerequisites
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1. Create a profile | Dashboard → Profiles → New Profile. The profile name is your user field. |
| 2. Connect socials | Open the profile and click Connect next to each network. |
| 3. Generate an API key | Dashboard → API Keys → New Key (2FA required). Copy the key. |
Configure the HTTP Module
Step 1 — Add the module
In your scenario, click + and search for HTTP > Make a request.
Step 2 — Basic settings
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| URL | https://api.indreelforge.com/api/upload |
| Method | POST |
| Body type | Multipart/form-data |
Step 3 — Add the Authorization header
In the Headers section add:
| Name | Value |
|---|---|
Authorization | Apikey YOUR_INREELFORGE_API_KEY |
In Make, go to Tools → Set Variable and save your API key as a constant named indreelforge_key. Reference it as {{indreelforge_key}} so it never appears hardcoded in module configs.
Step 4 — Body fields
| Key | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
user | my-brand | Your IndReelForge profile name |
title | Caption text | Map from a previous module |
platform[] | instagram | Add one row per platform |
platform[] | tiktok | Repeat the same key |
video | File or URL | Binary from Google Drive/Dropbox or a public URL |
Step 5 — Test the module
Click Run once and verify a 200 response with "success": true.
Available Endpoints
| Action | URL |
|---|---|
| Upload video | POST /api/upload |
| Upload photo carousel | POST /api/upload_photos |
| Post text only | POST /api/upload_text |
| Check status | GET /api/uploadposts/status?request_id=ID |
| List schedule | GET /api/schedule |
Pass a URL Instead of a File
Make has a 25 MB module payload limit. For larger videos, use video_url instead:
| Key | Value |
|---|---|
video_url | https://your-storage.com/video.mp4 |
IndReelForge fetches and processes the file server-side — no streaming through Make.
Post to Multiple Platforms at Once
Add platform[] multiple times with different values — IndReelForge fans the upload to every listed platform in a single API call:
| Key | Value |
|---|---|
platform[] | tiktok |
platform[] | instagram |
platform[] | youtube |
Example Scenarios
Content Calendar (Google Sheets → All Platforms)
Schedule (daily 9am) → Google Sheets (get row where Status=Ready)
→ HTTP (IndReelForge) → Google Sheets (set Status=Posted, write Upload ID)
- Schedule — runs every morning
- Google Sheets — read next row where column
Status = Ready - HTTP Request — POST to IndReelForge with
video_urlandplatform[]from sheet - Google Sheets — update Status →
Posted, writeupload_idfrom response
Notion Approval → Publish
Watch Notion DB (status=Approved) → HTTP (IndReelForge) → Notion (update Published=true)
Airtable → Multi-Platform Post
Airtable (watch for new record) → Iterator (platforms) → HTTP (IndReelForge)
Stripe Payment → Social Proof
Stripe (new subscription) → GPT-4 (write milestone post) → HTTP (/api/upload_text)
Auto-Schedule with Queue
Add add_to_queue=true to automatically publish at the next pre-configured slot:
| Key | Value |
|---|---|
add_to_queue | true |
Configure time slots in Dashboard → Profiles → Queue Settings.
Tips & Gotchas
| Topic | Detail |
|---|---|
| File size | Use video_url for files > 25 MB — Make's payload cap applies |
| API key safety | Store key as a Make constant, not inline in headers |
| Rate limits | Add a Sleep module (5–10 s) between bulk uploads |
| Free plan | Some platforms require Basic or higher — check your plan |
| Text posts | Use /api/upload_text with just title, user, platform[] |
| Error handling | Add an Error Handler route on the HTTP module and log failures to a sheet |
