YouTube Upload Guide
Upload videos to YouTube with full metadata — title, description, tags, privacy and custom thumbnail — using the IndReelForge API.

YouTube-Specific Fields

Schedule a Premiere

YouTube Premieres require the video to be uploaded as private with a future schedule_at time.
Upload with Queue

IndReelForge picks the next slot from your profile's queue settings.
Connect YouTube
- Dashboard → Profiles → select your profile
- Click Connect next to YouTube
- Sign in with Google and grant permissions (including YouTube upload scope)
- Return — status shows Connected
Troubleshooting
| Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
quota_exceeded | YouTube API quota hit (daily limit) | Wait until midnight PT for quota reset |
video_too_large | Over 256 GB | Split the video or compress it |
thumbnail_rejected | Image violates YouTube policy | Use a compliant image |
duplicate_video | YouTube detected duplicate content | YouTube may reject re-uploads of identical videos |
