Reddit Upload Guide

Post text, links and videos to Reddit subreddits using the IndReelForge API.

Supported Content Types

Reddit-Specific Fields

Field	Description
title	Post title (required, max 300 chars)
subreddit	Subreddit name without r/ (e.g. entrepreneur)
body	Self-post body text (for text posts)
flair	Post flair text if the subreddit requires it
nsfw	true to mark as NSFW
spoiler	true to mark as spoiler

note

Reddit link posts (kind: link) are not currently supported via the API. The /api/upload_text endpoint submits a text self-post only.

Connect Reddit

1. Dashboard → Profiles → select your profile
2. Click Connect next to Reddit
3. Authorise via Reddit OAuth
4. Return — status shows Connected

Tips

• Always provide a subreddit field — posts without a target subreddit will fail.
• Read the subreddit rules before posting — many subreddits have strict formatting or link-post requirements.
• Reddit karma requirements may prevent new accounts from posting in some subreddits.

Troubleshooting

Error	Cause	Fix

ratelimit	Too many posts	Reddit limits posts per 10 minutes per account
