Pinterest Upload Guide

Pin videos and images to your Pinterest boards using the IndReelForge API.

Supported Content Types

Pinterest-Specific Fields

Field	Description
title	Pin title (max 100 chars)
description	Pin description — keywords help discoverability
pinterest_board_id	Required. The numeric board ID to pin to. Board names are not accepted.
pinterest_link	Destination URL when the Pin is clicked
pinterest_alt_text	Accessibility description for the image/video

Pin to a Specific Board

pinterest_board_id is required — every request must include a board ID. Board names and default-board fallback are not supported. You can find a board's ID via the Pinterest API or your board's URL.

Connect Pinterest

1. Dashboard → Profiles → select your profile
2. Click Connect next to Pinterest
3. Authorise via the Pinterest OAuth popup
4. Return — status shows Connected

Troubleshooting

Error	Cause	Fix
board_not_found	Missing or invalid pinterest_board_id	Provide a valid numeric board ID — board names are not accepted
video_too_long	Over 15 minutes	Trim the video
image_format_unsupported	GIF or TIFF	Convert to JPEG or PNG
