LinkedIn Upload Guide
Post videos, images, carousels and text to LinkedIn personal profiles and Company Pages using the IndReelForge API.
Supported Content Types

LinkedIn-Specific Fields

post_type | personal (default) or company |
linkedin_article_url | URL for a LinkedIn article/link post. When provided on a text post, the post is submitted as an ARTICLE share rather than a plain text post. |
Post to Company Page vs Personal Profile
Configure in your IndReelForge profile which LinkedIn entity to post to. You can have separate profiles for personal vs company.
Connect LinkedIn
- Dashboard → Profiles → select your profile
- Click Connect next to LinkedIn
- Authorise via the LinkedIn OAuth popup
- Select whether to post as yourself or as a Company Page
- Return — status shows Connected
Troubleshooting
| Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
token_expired | LinkedIn tokens expire every 60 days | Reconnect LinkedIn in profile settings |
video_too_long | Over 10 minutes | Trim the video |
rate_limit | Too many posts per day | LinkedIn limits posts per profile; spread across days |
company_permissions | Missing Company Page admin role | Ensure you're an admin of the Page |
